Green Beans with Cherry/Grape Tomatoes

Directions
1. Wash beans; trim ends and remove strings. Cut into 1 ½ inch pieces.
2. Combine beans and water in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer about 15 minutes until crisp tender. Drain.
3. Melt margarine in skillet; stir in sugar, garlic salt, salt, pepper and basil. Add tomatoes; stir gently, cooking just until tender.
4. Pour tomatoes and sauce over beans; toss gently.
5. Transfer vegetables to pretty serving dish.
Microwave
In step 2, combine beans with ½ cup water in 2 quart microwave-safe covered casserole. Microwave on 100% power 9-11 minutes, stirring once, until crisp tender. Drain.
In step 3, melt margarine in 1 quart microwave-safe casserole in microwave on 100% power for 30 seconds. Stir in sugar, garlic salt, salt, pepper and basil. Add tomatoes; stir gently. Microwave on 100% power 2-4 minutes, stirring every minute until tomatoes are tender.
