Nutritional information per serving:
(per 1 tablespoon) 114 calories, 1 gram protein, 9 grams fat, 9 grams carbohydrate, 30 milligrams cholesterol, 19 milligrams sodium.
Directions
1. In small heavy skillet, combine sugar and cocoa. Blend well.
2. Stir in cream and mint. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar melts.
3. Boil uncovered until mixture reduces to about ¾ cup (about 8-10 minutes). Remove from heat, add vanilla.
4. Pour mixture through a fine mesh sieve, pressing down on the mint to extract all the liquid.
5. Serve warm or cold over ice cream, fresh strawberries and/or angel food cake or pound cake.
