Watering Requirements

Beds:

Plants in beds require approximately 1 inch of water per week. When nature doesn't provide you will have to supplement water. Water thoroughly making sure water is reaching the root system. Getting past the top layer of soil.

Hanging Baskets and Containers:

A good rule of thumb is-- the smaller the container, the more often it will require watering. Containers should have drainage holes to prevent root rot. Water thoroughly until you see water starting to come out through the drainage holes.

Also hanging baskets will require water more often because of the air flow from being above ground.
