Hi Ann:

Your problem could stem from uneven watering. For example, you water your plants throughly and then it rains for an extended period of time. Too much water forces the plant to take on more than it needs. Also, to much water in the right conditions can cause disease.

If this is not the case, try the internet, there are many good sites out there with advice on tomato problems. One is www.gardenhobbies.com, or just type in "tomato plant problems".

I hope this helps.

Ann

I have planted tomato plants the last two years. They always start off very promising but after the plants get loaded with fruit, they bottom leaves starting to turn brown, curl and fall off. By the end of the season and before everything is harvested, all the leaves are off.

What should I do?
